JD DISTRIBUTION

Company founded in 1998 at La Possession on Reunion Island.

JD DISTRIBUTION is a trading company specialized in the distribution and marketing of major brands, established in Reunion Island for several years.

JD DISTRIBUTION is divided into 2 divisions: GMS (Large Retail Sector) and CHRD (Cafes, Hotels, Restaurants, Nightclubs), a subsidiary of JD HOLDING, which brings together the companies Dismarun and Soretec.

1958

Creation of the company, subsidiary of the WONDER group

1986

WONDER is acquired by Energizer

1998

Acquisition of the subsidiary by Mr. Joel Deschamps, which becomes JD DISTRIBUTION

1998 to date

The company continued its development with the launch of several major brands in Bazaar, DPH (Health and Beauty Aids) and Grocery (more than 30 brands trust us)

We operate on 3 distribution channels:

  • Supermarkets: GSA (Large Food Retailer) and GSB, with more than 100 points of sale mainly located in the coastal areas of the island,

  • Traditional trade, which includes small shops spread all over the island (traditional food shops, gas stations, etc.),

  • The CHRD, with kitchen equipment (oven, hob, cold cell, etc.) tableware (plates, glasses, cutlery, saucepan etc.) indoor and outdoor furniture.
